To increase the image quality of an ultrasonic image by securing the size of a transducer array in an elevation direction.SOLUTION: For an ultrasonic probe according to the embodiment, a third direction among a first direction, second direction, and third direction orthogonal to one another is defined as the major axis direction of a probe head.
