A method of building up a physical object by additive manufacturing which has the steps of building up the object and at least one support structure layer by layer along a build axis. The support structure supports the object relative to a build platform. During building up the object and the at least one support structure a connection is provided between the support structure and the object by a plurality of layers each of which being a common layer of the object and the support structure.La présente invention concerne un procédé de construction d'un objet physique par fabrication additive qui possède les étapes de construction de l'objet et au moins une structure de support couche par couche le long d'un axe de construction. La structure de support soutient l'objet par rapport à une plateforme de construction. Durant la construction de l'objet et de ladite structure de support une connexion est fournie entre la structure de support et l'objet par une pluralité de couches étant chacune une couche commune de l'objet et de la structure de support.
