An oral care system and method. The system at least comprises an oral care tool (101) a terminal device (103) and a sensing device disposed on the oral care tool (101). The sensing device is configured to detect real time dynamic data of the oral care tool (101) so as to obtain a real time position of the oral care tool (101) and transmit the position to the terminal device (103) or directly detect real time dynamic data of the oral care tool (101) and transmit the data to the terminal device (103) to enable the terminal device (103) to obtain a real time position of the oral care tool (101). The terminal device (103) is configured to update a virtual image ac cording to the real time position of the oral care tool (101) in an oral care process to at least enable an image used to represent the oral care tool (101) an image used to represent a tooth and a position between the two to be updated and displayed in real time according to the real time position.
