The method for operating an automatic gel spraying pad comprises: a gel spraying step of spraying conductive gel included in a gel storing part of the pad onto a sponge and an electric signal transferring step of transferring an electric signal generated from a defibrillation unit of the defibrillator to the outside through the sponge having the gel sprayed thereon.
