PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and smoothly perform a reaping operation.
SOLUTION: The reaping apparatus (5) constituted in a reciprocating form is attached to a reaping and supporting frame (2). The reaping apparatus (5) comprises side edge parts (5a) at one side or both sides of the right and left of the reaping apparatus, which are arranged sideways so as to position in a lower space part (7) of a support machine frame (6) extended from the side part of the reaping and supporting frame (2) forward and a safety cover (9) attached to the support machine frame (6) or a reinforcing member (8) integrated with the support machine frame (6) is arranged so that it inclines externally downward and covers the side edge parts (5a) of the reaping apparatus (5). The lower edge part (10) of the safety cover (9) has a shape to retain a position approximately in parallel with the surface of land in a state in which the reaping apparatus (5) is in a reaping operation position. A discharge port (11) opens at the upper part of the safety cover (9).
