PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy mounting of a cutting blade cover on a cutting blade, and to further enhance general-purpose properties of the cutting blade cover.SOLUTION: There is provided a bush cutter 11 including a cutting blade 16 made of a steel material, and freely rotatably installed at the tip of an operation rod 12, and designed to rotate and drive the cutting blade 16 with an engine provided at the rear end of the operation rod 12. In the bush cutter 11, the cutting blade cover 31 freely detachably mounted on the cutting blade 16 is installed. The cutting blade cover 31 is formed with a resin material into a shape of a bottomed cylinder composed of a cover frame 32 opposing to the surface in the shaft direction of the cutting blade 16, and a cylindrical blade tip guard 33 connected to the cover frame 32, and covering the cutting blade 16 from the outside in the radial direction. Three magnets 34 are fixed to the inner surface of the cover frame 32 at an equal interval in the circumferential direction. The cutting blade 16 is covered with the cutting blade cover 31 from the side opposite to the operation rod 12 for the cutting blade 16, and the magnets 34 are bonded to the surface in the shaft direction of the cutting blade 16.
