PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrogels that degrade under appropriate conditions of pH and temperature in virtue of crosslinking compounds that degrade by an elimination reaction.SOLUTION: The invention provides a biodegradable hydrogel prepared from a first reactive polymer and a crosslinking agent that undergoes an elimination reaction under physiological conditions, so that the backbone of the hydrogel is cleaved by the crosslinking agent. The invention also discloses the crosslinking agents themselves and production intermediates of the hydrogel. The hydrogel decomposes into smaller soluble components through a non-enzymatic process when exposed to physiological conditions, thus usable for delivery of various agents such as pharmaceuticals. The biodegradable hydrogels prepared according to the methods of the invention may be of use in diverse fields, including biomedical engineering, absorbent materials, and as carriers for drug delivery.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】脱離反応により分解する架橋化合物により、適切なｐＨ及び温度条件下で分解するヒドロゲルを提供する。【解決手段】第１の反応性ポリマーと生理的条件下で脱離反応を起こす架橋剤をより調製することができ、それにより架橋剤でヒドロゲル骨格が切断される生分解性ヒドロゲル。又、架橋剤そのもの及び該ヒドロゲルの製造中間体も提示する。該ヒドロゲルは、生理的条件下にさらされた際、非酵素的過程により小さい可溶化成分へと分解するヒドロゲルであり、医薬等の様々な薬剤の送達に用いることができる。更に、本調製方法により製造される生分解性ヒドロゲルは、例えば、バイオ医学工学、吸収材、及び医薬送達の担体として、様々な分野で利用することができる。【選択図】なし
