Disclosed is a diaper which makes it easy to stretch out wrinkles occurring in the front and back waist area. A diaper (10) includes front and back waist members (20, 30) and a crotch member (40) connecting said front and back waist members (20, 30). The front and back waist members (20, 30) extend from the waist member edges (22, 32) to a crotch area (13), and include a first region (71) overlapping front and back flaps (46, 47), and a second region (72) adjacent to the first region (71). In the front and back waist members (20, 30), first waist region elastic bodies (81) and second waist region elastic bodies (82) are attached respectively to the first regions (71) and the second regions (72) between inner and outer sheets (24, 25) and (34, 35). In the second regions (72) are formed non-elastic regions (72a) overlapping with a core (42), and elastic regions (72b) positioned on both outer sides of the non-elastic regions (72a) in the lateral direction. The configuration is such that the tightening force of the first region (71) becomes less than that of the second region (72).
