A disposable wearable article with improved wearability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. This disposable wearable article includes a front and rear waist region (11, 12), a crotch region (13), and an absorbent structure (40) which extends from the crotch region to the front and rear waist regions. The front and rear waist regions comprise elastic waist regions (27, 28) which include a non-stretchable sheet member (22) and an elastic waist member (23). The elastic waist member, in a state stretched in the horizontal direction, is bonded to the non-stretchable sheet member. In the front waist region and/or the rear waist region, in a state in which the non-stretchable sheet member is contracted in the horizontal direction together with the elastic waist member, resulting in a plurality of wrinkles in the non-stretchable sheet member extending in the vertical direction, the absorbent structure is bonded to a bonding region arranged on at least a portion of the elastic waist region.
