PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential treatment device capable of enhancing the bodily sensation of a patient by increasing the difference between the peak value of a positive voltage and that of a negative voltage in an AC voltage.SOLUTION: Just moments before the waveform of an AC voltage VAC generated by an AC voltage generation circuit 3 starts reduction from the peak value of the positive voltage, a control circuit 6 superimposes the positive voltage to the AC voltage VAC to form the peak of the waveform.
