In the present invention, provided is a transplanting cup soil removal device of a transplanting apparatus, the transplanting cup soil removal device capable of removing soil in a transplanting cup in an effective manner. According to the present invention, the transplanting apparatus comprises a first cup part and a second cup part, is reciprocated in a vertical direction by a driving device (R), and has a plurality of transplanting cups (2) which are raised up while one side of the first cup part and one side of the second cup part are separated from each other and are open. Scrappers (30, 32) are installed on end portions of connection links (40, 42) and can remove soil in the transplanting cups. In an initial phase, the scrappers (30, 32) are located on upper portions between the transplanting cups. The scrappers (30, 32) are raised up and placed down in the direction opposite to the transplanting cups by a linking lever (110). The scrappers are moved, by a pair of pivoting brackets (60, 62), in a horizontal direction to place the scrappers in a center in a vertical direction of the transplanting cups when the transplanting cups are raised up. When the transplanting cups are placed down, the scrappers are located between the transplanting cups. The scrappers (30, 32) of the present invention passes through a center portion of the transplanting cup, goes down, and removes soil in the transplanting cup in the direction of the downside.
