PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of keeping a rotational speed of a transmission rotor in a planting transmission case constant more reliably.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter 1 comprises: a seedling loading table 51 for loading seedlings to the rear of a vehicle body 2 planting transmission cases 64 disposed below the seedling loading table 51 for supplying driving force to a planting body 61 that takes the seedlings from the seedling loading table 51 and plants the seedlings to a farm field a seedling planting device 60 which comprises the planting transmission cases 64, the planting body 61, and a planting transmission shaft 82 for supplying driving force to the plurality of planting transmission cases 64 and a planting support frame 55 for mounting the plurality of planting transmission cases 64. The planting transmission case 64 is provided with a brake stay 110 for reducing a rotational speed of a transmission sprocket 104 therein. Among the plurality of planting transmission cases 64, the brake force of the brake stay 110 in the planting transmission case 64 of the machine body inside is weaker than the brake force of the brake stay 110 in the planting transmission case 64 of the machine body outside.
