The present invention relates to a dispersion of polymer particles surface stabilized with a stabilizer in a nonaqueous medium containing at least one hydrocarbonaceous oil wherein the polymer of the particles is selected from the group consisting of C1 to C4 (meth) Alkyl polymer and the stabilizer is an isobornyl (meth) acrylate polymer. The invention also relates to a composition comprising a dispersion of said polymer particles and to a cosmetic use for caring for and keratinizing keratin materials.
