PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus or the like capable of more accurately executing ovarian follicle segmentation in medical imaging data.SOLUTION: The medical image processing apparatus according to one embodiment comprises extraction means, selection means and determination means. The extraction means extracts regions from the medical image data by performing threshold processing of the medical image data representative of a tissue structure by using each of a plurality of threshold values. The selection means selects regions meeting a predetermined condition from among the extracted regions.
