PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vacuum cooling equipment capable of sterilizing all over the inside of the vacuum cooling equipment without using vapor from a boiler.SOLUTION: The vacuum cooling equipment vacuumizes the interior of a cooling bath 2 with a cooling object 7 housed threrein using a vacuum generation device 1 to cool the cooling object housed in the cooling bath. The vacuum cooling equipment includes: a heating device 11 that heats water reserved in a water bath 3 hot water supply piping 13 that feeds the water in the water bath heated by the heating device to vacuum piping and a hot water supply control vale 12 that controls the hot water supply from the water bath to the vacuum piping in a hot water supply piping. When sterilizing the inside of the vacuum piping, the water in the water bath is heated to obtain hot water, and further, the hot water supply control valve 12 is opened with the interior of the vacuum piping depressurized and the hot water is introduced into the vacuum piping to evaporate the hot water with the vacuum cooling equipment and heat the inside of the vacuum piping with the generated vapor.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】ボイラからの蒸気を使用せずとも真空冷却装置内の隅々まで殺菌を行うことのできる真空冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】被冷却物7を収容した冷却槽2の内部を真空発生装置1によって真空化することで冷却槽に収容した被冷却物の冷却を行う真空冷却装置において、水槽3にためた水を加熱する加熱装置11、加熱装置で加熱した水槽内の水を真空配管へ送る温水供給配管13、温水供給配管内での水槽から真空配管内への温水供給を制御する温水供給制御弁12を設けておき、真空配管内の殺菌を行う場合、水槽内の水を加熱して温水とし、さらに真空配管内を減圧した状態で温水供給制御弁12を開き、真空配管内へ温水を導入することによって真空冷却装置で温水を蒸発させ、発生した蒸気によって真空配管内を加熱する。【選択図】図1
