PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device capable of maintaining a cooling effect for a long time.SOLUTION: A cooling device 10 includes a water retention body 12, and a wrapping member 14 consisting of moisture-permeable waterproof fabric surrounding the water retention body 12. Latent heat is removed by vaporized latent heat when the water retained in the water retention body 12 is vaporized, and the temperature of the water retention body 12 is lowered so that the temperature of the cooling device 10 itself is lowered.
