Disclosed is a field planting process for sweet waxy corn, the process comprising the following steps: (1) using a pure sweet waxy corn as a pollinator and using a waxy corn, which has the same sweet gene and is of a waxy genotype, as a receiver; or using a pure sweet waxy corn as a receiver and using a waxy corn, which has the same sweet gene and is of a waxy genotype, as a pollinator; (2) carrying out emasculation on the receiver; (3) planting the pollinator and the receiver by using a mixed planting mode; (4) the pollinator carrying out cross-pollination on the receiver; (5) harvesting corn ears generated by the receiver; and optionally, (6) harvesting corn ears generated by the pollinator.
