Disclosed is a field planting process for sweet waxy corn, the process comprising the following steps: (1) using a pure sweet waxy corn as a pollinator and using a waxy corn, which has the same sweet gene and is of a waxy genotype, as a receiver； or using a pure sweet waxy corn as a receiver and using a waxy corn, which has the same sweet gene and is of a waxy genotype, as a pollinator； (2) carrying out emasculation on the receiver； (3) planting the pollinator and the receiver by using a mixed planting mode； (4) the pollinator carrying out cross-pollination on the receiver； (5) harvesting corn ears generated by the receiver； and optionally, (6) harvesting corn ears generated by the pollinator.
