To provide a work claw capable of reducing a load to a base metal of the work claw, and improving wear resistance of the work claw.SOLUTION: The production method of the work claw is configured to form a first hard layer which is harder than a base metal of the work claw, to the base metal of the work claw, by a laser cladding method into a band-shape, and along the first hard layer, form a second hard layer harder than the base metal by the laser cladding method so as to be overlapped partially to the first hard layer. The first and second hard layers may be formed along a blade edge part of the base metal.
