PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device capable of suppressing notification with a low degree of necessity.SOLUTION: A notification device (1) includes a user state acquisition unit (13) for acquiring a user state including at least one of (a) a user's posture and (b) a user's position on a bed or outside a bed, a danger determination unit (15) for determining whether or not the user state is applicable to a dangerous state, a safety determination unit (15) for determining whether or not the user state is applicable to a safe state, a state setting unit (19) for setting either a valid state or an invalid state, and a notification unit (21) for executing notification processing when the user state is determined to be applicable to the dangerous state, and is in the valid state.
