PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous operations that may occur in a conventional indwelling needle device including a stopper as a member separate from an inner hub.SOLUTION: An outer unit 101 includes a shield 20 having an inner cavity, and a soft outer needle 30 fixed to a front end of the shield 20. An inner unit 102 includes an inner hub 40 partially arranged inside the inner cavity of the shield 20, a hard inner needle 50 fixed to a front end of the inner hub, and a tube 60 connected to the inner hub. The inner unit is displaced with respect to the outer unit from an initial position where the inner needle 50 passes through the outer needle and protrudes from a leading end of the outer needle 30, to a receding position where the inner needle 50 is stored inside the inner cavity of the shield 20. The inner hub 40 has an operation part 71 provided on the other side of the inner needle 50.
