PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle apparatus having a mechanism that can block a blood passage with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A hard inner needle 50 is fixed to the front end of a hub 40, and a flexible tube 60 is connected to the rear end of the hub 40. The hub is displaced into an initial position where the hub is located on the front end side of a shield 20 so that the inner needle projects from the distal end of an outer needle 30 and into a retreat position where the hub is located on the rear end side of the shield so that the inner needle is stored within the shield. A stopper 170 is inserted in and pulled out of the shield from the rear end of the shield.
