#$%^&*AU2014233568A120141016.pdf#####ABSTRACT A method for processing a time-dependent measurement signal obtained from a pressure sensor in a fluid containing system associated with a first pulse generator and a 5 second pulse generator, wherein the pressure sensor is arranged in the fluid containing system to detect a first pulse originating from the first pulse generator and a second pulse originating from the second pulse generator, wherein the first pulse comprises at least one base frequency of the first pulse generator and harmonics thereof, said method comprising: receiving the time-dependent measurement signal, 10 obtaining a single first pulse profile which is a predicted temporal signal profile of the first pulse and which contains said at least one base frequency and a set of the harmonics, adjusting at least one of the amplitude and the phase of the single first pulse profile with respect to the time-dependent measurement signal, and 15 filtering the time-dependent measurement signal in the time-domain, by subtracting the thus-adjusted single first pulse profile from the time-dependent measurement signal, to essentially eliminate the first pulse while retaining the second pulse in the time-dependent measurement signal.
