It is an object to provide a method for efficiently proliferating pancreatic somatic stem cells. A method for producing pancreatic somatic stem cells, comprising the following steps (A) and (B): (A) In a cell group containing cells constituting the pancreas, the cells are passed through the G0 phase or G1 phase and transferred to the S phase. A step of expressing a gene of a protein having activity； and (B) a step of culturing the cells obtained in step (A) in the presence of an extracellular growth factor.膵臓由来体性幹細胞を効率的に増殖する方法等を提供することを課題とする。以下の工程（Ａ）及び（Ｂ）を含む、膵臓由来体性幹細胞の製造方法：（Ａ）膵臓を構成する細胞を含む細胞群において、Ｇ０期又はＧ１期を通過させＳ期へと移行させる活性を有するタンパク質の遺伝子を発現させる工程；及び（Ｂ）工程（Ａ）で得られた細胞を細胞外増殖因子の存在下で培養する工程。
