PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an insect in a state in which the insect is alive, with a simple method and perform sensitivity detection to a medicament.SOLUTION: A holding device for holding an insect in a state in which the insect is alive comprises: a tubular container body 10 whose inside is hollow and a water holding layer 12 coated to an inner face of the container body 10. The water holding layer 12 is formed of a substrate having water holding capacity, and can hold an insect which is put into the container body 10 to whose inner face the water holding layer 12 is coated. According to the above mentioned structure, it is possible to hold the insect which is put into the container body in a state in which the insect is alive. Especially, the insect can be held for a long term without using a plant body and inhibiting a behavior of the insect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡便な方法で虫を生存したまま保持し、薬剤に対する感受性検定を行えるようにする。【解決手段】虫を生存したままで保持するための保持装置であって、内部を中空とした管状の容器本体10と、前記容器本体10の内面に塗布された保水性層12とを備え、前記保水性層12は、保水性のある基質で構成されており、前記保水性層12を内面に塗布した容器本体10の内部に虫を投入して保持可能に構成している。上記構成により、内部に虫を投入した状態でこれを生存させたまま保持することができる。特に従来のように、植物体を用いることなく、また虫の行動を阻害することなく虫を長期に渡って保持できる。【選択図】図1
