PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemodialysis apparatus capable of finding an accurate quantity of bodily fluid by simple work while reducing the cost, and capable of finding a flow velocity of dialysis solution necessary for achieving a target dialysis quantity by simple work using the found quantity of bodily fluid.
SOLUTION: The hemodialysis apparatus includes: a hemodialysis executing means 9 a bodily fluid quantity computing means 11 which computes the quantity of bodily fluid as the total sum of the moisture present within the body of a patient by analyzing a mathematical model on the dynamic state of urea and a dialysis solution velocity computing means 12 which, before the start of the hemodialysis treatment to be performed after the hemodialysis treatment performed when the quantity of bodily fluid is computed by the bodily fluid quantity computing means 11, computes the flow velocity of the dialysis solution necessary to achieve the target quantity of dialysis by analyzing the mathematical model on the dynamic state of urea, based on the quantity of bodily fluid computed by the bodily fluid quantity computing means 11, the time of dialysis treatment, the blood flow velocity, the overall mass transfer-area coefficient of a dialyzer which has been used for the dialysis, and the target quantity of dialysis to be achieved when the dialysis treatment is finished.
