PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle having a use life longer than conventional ones.SOLUTION: A medical needle 1 comprises a needle tube 2, a needle base 3, and a regulation pin 4. The needle tube 2 is made of a metallic material, and has a sharp needle tip 11 at the distal end thereof. The needle tube 2 also has an enlarged-diameter part 12 at the proximal end thereof, the enlarged-diameter part 12 being formed to be larger than the needle tip 11 in diameter. The needle tube 2 is inserted into the needle base 3 such that the needle tip 11 protrudes outward from the distal end of the need base 3, and the needle base 3 has a narrow part 24 which engages with the enlarged-diameter part 12 to prevent the needle tube 2 from being pulled out from the proximal end. The regulation pin 4 is fixed within the needle base 3 and regulates the movement of the needle tube 2 such that the needle tip 11 of the needle tube 2 does not retract into the needle base 3.
