PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of highly accurately extracting a tubercle region in a short time.
SOLUTION: A storage section 10 stores volume data related to a subject. A tubercle candidate region extraction section 16 extracts a tubercle candidate region included in the volume data based on pixel values. A nuclear region determination section 20 determines a central part of the extracted tubercle candidate region as a nuclear region. A tubercle candidate region generation section 22 specifies a non-tubercle region out of the tubercle candidate region based on a first distance from the determined nuclear region and a second distance longer than the first distance and removes the specified non-tubercle region from the tubercle candidate region to extract the tubercle region.
