PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient land cultivation method dispensing with creation of cultivation holes, causing crocea clams (Tridacna crocea) to freely open shells and receive sunlight, extremely facilitating yield of grown crocea clams, and eliminating damage of the meats thereof.SOLUTION: The land cultivation method includes: laying coral and other pebbles and sands 5 on a bottom of a water tank 1 provided on land, where the pebbles and sands without any cultivation holes are laid for preventing crocea clams 6 from being restrained by the cultivation holes; supplying seawater W therein such that the pebbles and sands 5 are submerged; preventing foreign enemy of the crocea clams 6 from entering in the water tank; and causing the crocea clams 6 to be adsorbed and supported by the pebbles and sands 5 and to receive light, with the shells opened freely. Especially, the crocea clams 6 do not inhabit in narrow cultivation holes, but thoroughly take sunlight therein, with the shells fully opened, thus efficiently using the solar energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
