PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failed photograph image management device which allows users to efficiently study improvement points in photography and study to surely prevent the frequency of failed photographing from increasing, an operation method and an operation program therefor and a failed photograph image management system.SOLUTION: A first calculation part 72 calculates a first index value quantitatively indicating a failed photographing state for each photography menu with a first formula having a variable number on the basis of an increase rate of the frequency of failed photographing in each photography menu. A first extraction part 73 automatically extracts a target menu, or a photography menu which should be a target to be studied to prevent occurrence of failures in photographing on the basis of the first index value. A second extraction part 74 extracts images to be studied which are failed photograph images associated with the target menu. A screen output control part 76 generates a conference screen 30 to display the target menus and the images to be studied.
