PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Perilla frutescens extract or Japanese apricot is provided to reduce immunocyte number and suppress dermatitis without side effect.CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating dermatitis contains 0.1-3 wt% of Perilla frutescens extract and 0.1-3 wt% of Japanese apricot extract. The extract is isolates using water or alcohol. The water extract is prepared by boiling a mixture of water and Perilla frutescens or Japanese apricot with water for 3-8 hours, removing precipitate, and freeze-drying. The alcohol extract is prepared by reflux extraction of the mixture and alcohol for 30 minutes to 5 hours, removing precipitate, and freeze-drying.
