PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinked gelatin carrier having a content of water-soluble matter in the crosslinked gelatin consisting of a particle state matter and the like which is modulated in a specific range, and to provide a physiologically active substance sustained release carrier obtained by adsorbing a physiologically active substance to the carrier and holding, related to a crosslinked gelatin carrier and a physiologically active substance sustained release carrier using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a crosslinked gelatin carrier obtained by performing further decomposition treatment of the crosslinked gelatin which is subjected to a crosslinking treatment, wherein a content of water-soluble matter is 15-50% by weight before decomposition treatment, and is increased to 25-75% by weight after decomposition treatment. The crosslinked treatment by heating is preferable and it is preferable to perform decomposition treatment by γ irradiation. The crosslinked gelatin carrier is preferred to be a single particle or a particle aggregate of a solid structure. By fluctuating the content of water-soluble matter in a specific range, the physiologically active substance of the amount which exhibits a desired therapeutic effect can be adsorbed and held.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 架橋ゼラチン担体およびそれを用いた生理活性物質徐放担体に関し、粒子状などからなる架橋ゼラチン中の水可溶分の含有量を特定範囲に調整された架橋ゼラチン担体、および該担体に生理活性物質を吸着、保持してなる生理活性物質徐放担体を提供するものである。【解決手段】 架橋処理された架橋ゼラチンをさらに分解処理してなる架橋ゼラチン担体であって、水可溶分の含有量が分解処理前に15~50重量%であり、分解処理後に25~75重量%に増加していることを特徴とする。加熱による架橋処理が好ましく、γ線照射による分解処理を施すことが好ましい。架橋ゼラチン担体は、中実構造の単一粒子もしくは粒子凝集体であることが好ましい。水可溶分の含有量を特定範囲で変動させることで、所望の治療効果を発揮する量の生理活性物質を吸着、保持することができる。【選択図】 図1
