PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing polystyrenesulfonic acid metal salt is provided to easily suspend in water and to reduce rough texture. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition contains polystyrenesulfonic acid metal salt and xanthan gum which is a gelling agent. The composition is used in the form of powder, granule, or dry syrup. The composition additionally contains suspension which is not gelated in water. The gelling agent is magnesium aluminum silicate. A method for manufacturing powders, granules, or dry syrups containing polystyrenesulfonic acid metal salt comprises: a step of mixing polystyrenesulfonic acid metal salt and xanthan gum； a step of mixing ethanol or ethanol aqueous solution to manufacture a granule； and a step of drying the granule.본 발명은 폴리스티렌설폰산금속염 함유 제제에 관한 것으로서, 폴리스티렌설폰산금속염 및 잔탄검(또는 폴리스티렌설폰산금속염, 잔탄검 및 규산알루미늄마그네슘)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 폴리스티렌설폰산금속염 함유 제제는 휴대가 간편하고, 물에 현탁하는 것이 용이하며, 물에 현탁시 침강이 느리고, 까칠한 이물감 등이 줄고, 마시기 편한 정도가 개선되어 복용감이 뛰어나다.
