PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having excellent touch feeling and fitting property with low manufacturing cost.
SOLUTION: One strip of an elastic extensible material 10 is extended in the extension direction S according to a body width direction Y at the end of the longitudinal direction of the back side B of a diaper 1. The strip of the elastic extensible material 10 has a first region R1 having a slit or a notch and a second region R2 having no slit or notch in the body width direction. The slit includes two first slits extending to the extension direction S and a second slit extending in the orthogonal direction of the extension direction S, and these two first slits make a pair of slits by setting with a prescribed space in the orthogonal direction, and the second slit crosses the pair of slits. Additionally, the above notch is formed by notching virtual lines, which extend in the extension S in the first area R1 and are parallel each other, in order to connect at least a part of these two virtual lines.
