PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is capable of controlling deformation of an absorbent core due to movements of the legs and continuing to cover the body with the absorbent core.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper (10) includes an absorbent core (31), a fastening tape (91) that is arranged in a rear waist region, and a waist holding region (60) that extends along the width direction in a front waist region and the rear waist region. The absorbent core has a pair of deformation base point portions (80), which extend outward in the width direction toward the front and are spaced in the width direction.
