PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine volatilization device that enables a high volatilization amount to be obtained irrespective of the direction of wind.SOLUTION: A medicine volatilization device 1 includes a carrier 2 that holds a medicine volatile at normal temperature, a container 3 that stores the carrier 2 inside and includes a ventilation opening 4, and a string 5 that hangs the container 3. The container 3 is roughly of a plate-like shape having a front face and a back face, and is so shaped that when an incidence angle of the wind to the front face or the back face of the container 3 is 90°, the right and left moments become equal, and when an incidence angle of the wind is not 90°, the right and left moments are not equal.
