PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trapping trigger device that facilitates setting for a trap without digging ground, is activated instantaneously when an animal steps on it, and improves capture.SOLUTION: A trigger device 1, which is set on a ground surface and to which a wire is attached in order to trap a leg of an animal, is formed from a first belt body 21 and a second belt body 22, both of which have a half-annular shape and are connected to each other. The trigger device is provided with: a wire attaching body 2 rotatable around a connecting part for them a support rod 3 fitted on the respective inner peripheries of the first belt body 21 and the second belt body 22 and a foot board 4 placed on the support rod 3.
