An egg gathering device and method for feeding insects and gathering eggs therethrough are provided. The egg gathering device includes a box, a grid and a cover is provided. The box includes a first opening and a first accommodation space. The first accommodation space is used for feeding insects therein. The grid is stacked on the first opening of the box and includes meshes. The cover is stacked on the grid and includes plural long bars.
