The present invention relates to a method for preparing an aqueous sulfur solution for controlling insects, whereby sulfur powder is dissolved in an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution to prepare an aqueous sulfur solution containing a potassium hydroxide component, and the aqueous sulfur solution is then diluted with water and used to control insects, such that the insects are controlled, and at the same time, a potassium component is supplied to plants. More specifically, to prepare an aqueous sulfur solution containing a sulfur component, an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution is first prepared, a selected quantity of sulfur powder is added with caution to the aqueous potassium hydroxide solution and dissolved under stirring to produce an aqueous sulfur solution containing potassium hydroxide, and the aqueous sulfur solution containing potassium hydroxide, which contains both a sulfur component and a potassium component, is diluted with 2000 parts of water per one part of the solution, and then sprayed on the leaves of crops.본 발명은 수산화칼륨수용액에 유황분말을 녹여서 수산화칼륨 성분이 혼합된 유황수용액을 제조하고 물에 희석시켜 해충방제에 사용하게 함으로써, 해충을 방제와 더불어 식물에 칼륨성분도 공급할 수 있도록 한 해충방제용 유황수용액 제조방법에 관한 것인바 더욱 구체적으로는, 해충 방제에 적합한 일정농도의 유황성분을 함유하는 유황수용액을 제조하기 위해 먼저 수산화칼륨수용액을 제조하고, 상기 수산화칼륨수용액에 일정비율의 유황분말을 안전하게 투입하면서 교반하는 방법으로 녹여서 수산화칼륨이 혼합된 유황수용액을 제조하고 상기 용액을 2000배의 물에 희석시켜서 농작물에 엽면 살포하게 함으로써, 유황성분을 유지하면서 칼륨성분도 포함하는 수산화칼륨 성분이 혼합된 해충 방제용 유황수용액을 제조하는 것이다.
