PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath agent using calcium hydride which is highly reactive with moisture and unsuitable for handling and formulation.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a bath agent having excellent foaming power that maintains stability by making the particle size of the calcium hydride within the range of the average particle diameter of 0.12 to 2 mm and blending a polyvalent aliphatic carboxylic acid such as malic acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid and citric acid to suppress the gelation phenomenon in the bath, and molding into a granular, briquette or tablet form coated with an oily component.
