Described is an ophthalmic formula that comprises a non-sedative antihistamine and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers where the non-sedative antihistamine is an enantiomer of Cetirizine and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which comprise Levocetirizine containing at least 90% by weight in a racemic mixture. The invention also comprises the use of a topic ophthalmic formula with an effective concentration of Levocetirizine for the manufacture of a drug useful in the treatment of ocular disorders in mammals. The ocular disorders are an itching sensation under the eyelids, reddening and watering of the eyes, chemosis, tarsal conjunctival pruritus and photophobia associated to diseases such as seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (SAC), perennial allergic conjunctivitis, atopic keratoconjunctivitis (AKC) and vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) and the combination thereof.La presente invención se refiere una formulación farmacéutica oftálmica que comprende un antihistamínico no sedativo y portadores farmacéuticamente aceptables donde el antihistamínico no sedativo es un enantiómero de Cetirizina y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, que éstas comprenden Levocetirizina, el cual contiene al menos un 90% en peso en una mezcla racémica.
