PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator appropriately preventing liquid inside a housing from passing though a hole provided on the bottom wall of the housing and falling down to the lower side of the device during rotation of a rotor, even when an error is caused in positioning of the hole and a shaft part of the rotor inserted to the hole.SOLUTION: The mist generator MG includes a liquid receiving part 4 positioned below the hole 16 provided on the bottom wall 11 of the housing H and receiving at least part of liquid of a liquid storage part 14 when the liquid is leaked downwardly from a gap 16a.
