PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead body preservation device capable of suppressing degradation and deterioration of a dead body, and preserving it for an extended period.SOLUTION: A dead body preservation device includes a storage electrode for storing a dead body, an intermediate electrode surrounding the storage electrode, and a housing electrode surrounding the intermediate electrode. The storage electrode and the intermediate electrode are electrically insulated from each other, the intermediate electrode and the housing electrode are electrically insulated from each other, the storage electrode is connected to high-voltage power supply, and the housing electrode is grounded. The dead body preservation device further includes a cooling device for cooling the inside of the storage electrode, and a humidity control device for controlling the humidity inside the storage electrode.
