PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost spreader which can lift a frame with a simple structure and open the rear part of a cargo box without separating a driving gear of the frame comprising beaters.SOLUTION: A compost spreader 1 comprises: a conveying part 3 for conveying compost stored in a cargo box 2 a spreading part 4 for spreading the compost conveyed by the conveying part 3 to a farm field by rotating beaters 40 that are pivotally supported on a frame 5 and a horizontal drive shaft 61 for rotating the plurality of beaters 40 of the spreading part 4. The rear end side of the cargo box 2 can be opened by providing the drive shaft 61 above the frame 5 and rotating the frame 5 around the drive shaft 61.
