PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-shell resin fine particle dispersion for an aqueous ink and an aqueous ink composition, which develop excellent physical properties of a coating film (adhesiveness to a substrate and wet friction resistance) under the conditions of low-temperature drying even for a nonpolar film substrate, as well as shows excellent storage stability, re-dissolving property and plate cleaning property of an ink.SOLUTION: A core-shell resin fine particle dispersion (B) for an aqueous ink is prepared by emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) in an aqueous medium in the presence of a water-soluble resin (A). Desired properties can be obtained by controlling the composition of the aqueous resin (A), the composition of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) and aspects of the core-shell resin fine particle dispersion (B) for an aqueous ink.
