To provide a protective breathable material and a method for producing a protective breathable material.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composite material for a protective breathable material. The protective breathable material has at least one carrier layer and an electrospinning membrane provided on at least one carrier layer. The electrospinning membrane is composed of fibers which overlap each other to form a porous structure. Thereby, a porous structure is designed. The carrier layer comprises a monofilament cloth. A plasma coating is provided on both the electrospinning membrane and the monofilament cloth of the at least one carrier layer. A junction is provided to connect the carrier layer and the electrospinning membrane.
