PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid formulation of human growth hormone servable to various manufacturing processes without generating an activity decline or an evaluable stability decline.SOLUTION: This liquid growth hormone formulation comprises growth hormone in an isotonic phosphate buffer solution. The liquid growth hormone preparation can be stored stably over six months or longer at a temperature in the range of 2-8°C by simply formulating growth hormone in a phosphate buffer solution without adding other additives at around physiological pH.
