PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption carrier, eliminating cells existing in blood, especially activated leucocytes or cancer cells of granulocytes or monocytes, eliminating excessively existing cytokine preferably, and extremely increasing cytokine adsorption ability compared to conventional technique.
SOLUTION: The adsorption carrier includes fibers A of diameter of 0.5-8 &mum and fibers B of diameter 8-50 &mum. The diameter of the fibers B is larger than the diameter of the fibers A. The fibers B are core-sheath type or sea-island type conjugated fibers.
