Produkt, welches saures Magnesiumpyrophosphat (Magnesiumdihydrogendiphosphat) und wenigstens Magnesiumorthophsphat enthält, herstellbar durch Entwässern einer wässrigen Lösung oder Suspension einer Magnesiumphosphatverbindung, die ein Molverhältnis von Mg:P von 0,4-0,6 : 1 aufweist, wobei das Produkt einen Glühverlust von 7,5 bis 13,5 % aufweist.Product (I) comprises acid magnesium pyrophosphate (magnesium dihydrogen diphosphate) and at least magnesium orthophosphate, producible by removal of water from an aqueous solution or suspension of a magnesium phosphate compound which has a molar ratio (magnesium:phosphorus) of 0.4-0.6:1, where the product has a loss on ignition of 7.5-13.5%.
