PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions containing Laurus nobilis leaf extract as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition for the prevention or treatment of hangover containing Laurus nobilis leaf extract, and a food composition for the prevention or improvement of hangover containing Laurus nobilis leaf extract. Preferably, further Opuntia maxima extract, and further Rosa roxburghii extract are contained. The ratio of Laurus nobilis leaf extract, Opuntia maxima extract, and Rosa roxburghii extract is a weight ratio of 0.25 to 1:0.5 to 2:0.5-2.EFFECT: Since the composition contains Laurus nobilis leaf extract, it has a significantly excellent blood alcohol concentration and acetaldehyde concentration reduction effect.
