The present invention relates to a promoter which induces expression specifically in scutellum tissue or scutellum-derived callus of rice and, more specifically, to a promoter inducing expression specifically in scutellum tissue or scutellum-derived callus of rice, to a recombinant expression vector including the same； and to a plant transformed by the recombination expression vector. The promoter of the present invention induces expression specifically in scutellum tissue or scutellum-derived callus of rice to improve trait of a crop by specifically express a target protein by using the promoter.본 발명은 서열번호 1의 염기서열로 이루어지는, 벼의 배반조직 또는 배반유래 캘러스에서 특이적으로 발현을 유도하는 프로모터에 대한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 벼의 배반조직 또는 배반유래 캘러스에서 특이적으로 발현을 유도하는 프로모터 및 이를 포함하는 재조합 발현 벡터, 상기 재조합 발현 벡터로 형질전환된 식물체에 대한 것이다. 본 발명의 프로모터는 벼의 배반조직 또는 배반유래 캘러스에서 특이적으로 발현을 유도하기 때문에, 상기 프로모터를 이용하여 목적 단백질을 특이적으로 발현시킴으로써 작물의 형질을 개량시킬 수 있다.
